That’s the exact size the formula suggests. With 8′ ceilings, I would suggest getting one that doesn’t hang down very far (unless it’s over a table in the middle). What a nice walk in closet!

No special rings needed and you can smoothly pull curtains past brackets. Wish I knew they existed before I bought my other rods. Thanks for the tips about C rings, I may get them for my windows.

Thanks for watching and commenting! I haven’t done a post specifically about slip covers. That’s too complicated for me to DIY, if that’s what you want to try. I bought mine at Crate and Barrel, it’s the Willow slip covered sofa. I do love it and wash it.

If you want to try something DIY I recommend the channel Mimzy and Company on Youtube. She does a lot of upholstery and tutorials and is really good.

If it’s a good sofa, reupholstering can be expensive but worth it.

That is a really good observation and I hadn’t thought of it. I will try to find an example to add that has no wood trim to share. OR, I have an idea.
