Really bulky sweaters they will only hold about 4 sweaters or sweatshirts. For thinner sweaters it’s closer to 6. I try not to go over that because then I can’t see all of what’s in the bin.

I bought the 12 x 10 x 8 storage bins. I wouldn’t go smaller, but you could also use larger depending on the shelves where you will store them. I hope this helps.
