A real designer, A real conversation and a room that fits your life.
Most virtual design happens at arm’s length — a questionnaire in, a PDF out. We do it differently. Every package starts with a live Zoom call where I see your space and we design together.

This isn’t your usual virtual design service.
Live 1:1, not a questionnaire
Most virtual designers send you a form and email back a PDF. We meet on Zoom. I see your room, you walk me through what’s working and what isn’t, and we design together.
I design around what you already own
I don’t believe every room needs a clean slate. Tell me what you want to keep — the rug from your grandmother, the sofa you saved up for, the dresser you actually like — and I’ll build the plan around it.
Smart sourcing, including second-hand
Where it makes sense, I source from vintage shops, Facebook Marketplace, estate sales, and consignment. Better quality, better budgets, and pieces with character that you won’t see in everyone else’s house.
Three ways to work together
All three include a live 1:1 Zoom call. The right one depends on how much you want me to deliver.
Design Strategy Call

You leave with a clear plan, your own notes, and any links I share. Book as many sessions as you need, one at a time.

How it works
What to expect from start to finish.
1. Book your service
Pick the service that fits, book online, and you’ll get a confirmation with a short intake questionnaire and a link to schedule our Zoom.
2. Send me your space
Before our call, you’ll send me a few photos and rough measurements. I’ll walk you through how — it’s easier than you think — so we hit the ground running.
3. We meet live on Zoom
This is the part that’s different. We share screens, walk through your room together, and design in real time. You talk me through what you want to keep, what you hate, what you’ve been saving for. I suggest, you react, we iterate.
4. You receive your plan
For the Floor Plan and Floor Plan + Mood Board services, your final deliverables — including a photorealistic mood board if you chose the full package — land in your inbox within 2 weeks. Then it’s yours: shop, source, and implement at your own pace.
Real rooms, real styles — and a preview of exactly what you’ll receive.
The images below are a combination of photorealistic renderings and mood boards. The deliverable depends a little bit on the images YOU GIVE ME. Both are examples of the kinds of deliverable you’ll get for your room. From moody transitional to bright Scandinavian, every plan is built around the client’s life, not my signature look.

Don’t see your style here? That’s normal — every room I design starts from scratch with you.
Are my services right for you?
This is for you if…
- You want to be part of the process — to know your room reflects your taste, not just my taste.
- You have pieces you love and want to keep, and you don’t want to be talked into replacing everything.
- You care about getting good design without paying full retail on every single item.
- You’re decisive once you have a plan — but you want a real designer to make sure the plan is right.
- You’re tackling one room at a time and want it done well, not fast.
This isn’t for you if…
- You want someone else to order the furniture and install the art and draperies for you. (That’s an in-person designer — happy to refer you to one.)
- You want a designer to make every decision without your input. I work collaboratively, so if you’d rather hand it off entirely, we’ll both be frustrated.
- You’re looking for a same-day fix. My turnaround is two weeks, and the live call is intentionally unhurried.
What clients have said
“I love my new kitchen”
“I was scared to take on a kitchen renovation on my own. I’d never taken on a project like this, but Andrea broke down the process and made it less scary.”
— Hilary, Homeowner
“The bedroom I always wanted”
“She really listened to my needs and stayed within my budget, even helping me to incorporate existing pieces. It all came together so well.”
— Christi, Homeowner
Frequently asked questions
Which service should I choose?
Quick answer: Strategy Call ($249) when you have a specific problem and just want to talk it through (no deliverable file). One Room Floor Plan ($299) when you need a finished layout you can keep and shop from. Floor Plan + Mood Board ($499) when you want the full vision — layout, color, and curated shopping. Still not sure? Email me at [email protected] and tell me what you’re working on.
What do I get with the Strategy Call?
A 60-minute live Zoom session — that’s it. No deliverable file afterward. We work through your space together in real time, often using my floor plan tool live so we can experiment with layouts on the spot. You take notes during the call and walk away with a clear plan, sourcing recommendations, and any discount codes I share. If you want a finished floor plan to keep, the One Room Floor Plan service ($299) is the right fit.
How is this different from other virtual design services?
Two ways. First, every package includes a live 1:1 Zoom call where I see your actual space — not just photos. Second, I don’t push a “buy everything new” approach. I’ll factor in what you already own, and I’ll suggest second-hand sources where they make sense.
Do I have to buy all new furniture?
No. In fact, I’ll usually recommend you don’t. Most rooms have pieces worth keeping, and I design around them. For new additions, I’ll suggest options at a few price points and flag where second-hand is the smart move.
How long does it take?
Floor Plans and Floor Plan + Mood Board deliverables arrive within 2 weeks of our Zoom call. Strategy Calls happen as soon as we can find a time that works.
What if I don’t like the design?
You’re covered by my satisfaction guarantee. If you aren’t happy with your design, you’ll get your money back.
Can you design my style?
Probably yes. Past projects have spanned moody transitional, modern dramatic, bright Scandinavian, cottage traditional, and more — all real client work. The gallery above shows the range. Bring me your style.
How will I know what my room will look like before I buy anything?
That’s exactly what the mood board is for. The renderings I deliver are photorealistic — most clients say they look like real photos of finished rooms. You’ll see your space (with the pieces you’re keeping plus my recommendations) before you spend a dollar on anything new. The images on this page are real client mood boards, not stock photos.
Do I need to be technical?
Not at all. If you can join a Zoom call and send a few photos from your phone, you have all the skills you need.
Can you help with a whole house, or just one room?
My services are scoped one room at a time, which keeps quality high and costs predictable. If you want to design a whole house, we’ll do it room-by-room — and most clients find that pace works better anyway.
