Do you want some ideas on how to wrap gifts without spending much money?
My sister is the ultimate wrapping paper collector. She has so much incredible wrapping paper, that it’s too good for packages. I on the other hand have the opposite problem. I have almost no wrapping paper and I don’t want to buy a lot.
First, I thought I would use the cartoons from the newspaper. I guess it’s been a while since I looked at those. There was maybe 1/2 a page of cartoons in the weekend paper in Dallas. That’s definitely not enough to wrap many boxes.
I started to look for inexpensive wrapping ideas on Pinterest. I saw the cutest idea and decided to try to replicate it. Someone used Trader Joe’s Christmas bags as wrapping paper. What do you think?
If you don’t have a Trader Joe in your area many grocery stores use this holiday bags that are different. It is definitely not the fastest way to wrap gifts and can be hard for large gifts.
For ribbon I used raffia, which is also inexpensive. I think yarn would also be an inexpensive option.
